Pastor's Word

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Christ Jesus in whom we live, move and have our being… Acts 17:28.

I am profoundly glad that you have some how navigated to this page. I thus use this opportunity to stir your spirit to reach out for what God has for you with great passion. You know very well that God exists for real because He has done everything possible to reveal Himself to man as His word says in Rom 1:20 NIV that: “For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse”.  So God always wants to make Himself known to man, so that those who deny Him are without excuse! The simple things that happen in our lives daily clearly show that there is God; how the sun rises and sets, how we plant crops and they grow, the beautiful creation around us just to mention but a few. When you keenly observe all this, you come to a realization that they just can’t happen without a divine power behind them – God!

That is why the Psalmist said in Psalm 14:1 that: The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."

I pray, you know God and you get reconciled to Him for it is not enough just to know that He is there. James 2:19 says that: “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder”. But you know they are going to Hell. That is why I ask you my friend to be reconciled to God, come to Him, give your life to Him, His word again says in 2 Corinthians. 5:18-21: Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

Lastly, I want you to know that God has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed [Jesus Christ]. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead. Acts 17:31 NIV Also remember that “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” Heb 9:27 NKJV. Therefore, if a man can dodge the first appointment (death) then he can manage to dodge the second one (judgment). Do you think you will die some day? If yes, then you need Jesus my friend because Judgement is ahead coming!

To my fellow Christians, I thank you for choosing Jesus and making Him known to others. Thank you also for being a friend to our church by reading our blog. You are free to partner with us in any way God may lead you and I pray you are blessed in Jesus’ Name – Amen!!!

Poem on Sunday

Oh how I like it!
It is a Sunday Morning
Quiet, calm, bright, lively, less stressing and refreshing
I really like it

I look out through the window and what do I see?
The sun setting ready to give us light and warmth all day and to make our plants grow.
Starring at it, it seems to have a message to give to me.
When I listen keenly with my spirit, I hear the Sun say God loves you!
I smile and then begin my day well!
I really like it, it’s a Sunday Morning.

I move out of the house to begin preparations to go to church
Reaching out, the whole environment seems different; better than all days of the week.
Listening more keenly, I hear nothing much except birds singing in the trees
Also the wind blowing gently in the trees; it’s a good panorama.
They too seem happy and grateful to God for the new day
Praise God, praise God they seem to sing.
I too respond Amen! Amen! And I continue with my preparations.

I am finally there, at church, oh I really like it!
I can’t wait to start talking to God, off to the corner I go.
Thank U Jesus, thank U for life, thank U for Salvation.
I imagine, if trees can praise and birds sing to God, why not I
Soon I hear the number of those praying grow,
Soon we start worshipping God in songs of all languages
Soon the preacher is on, and on and on the service goes.
I like it all but most of all, I like the Worship.
It’s a Sunday Morning.

From church I see many people in the road
Some are moving upwards and some downwards and yet others across.
Many are having bibles in their hands while others don’t, but one thing is clear, they are coming from some church somewhere.
Then I can’t stop thanking God. Praise God remains the song on my lips all day.
Reaching home, I don’t want to put the bible down, I want to read it, I want to worship, I want to be with God,
I really like it, being with God, staying with Him, not just on Sunday but always.

Come! Let us be with God, let us live with Him.
I really like it!
